7月17日（水）〜28日（日）までの12日間、墨田区京島にある「ウィヴァネストペンギン」さんにて、ポップアップイベントを開催します。
オンラインショップで販売中の浴衣やアンティーク羽織、帯を、実際に手にとってご覧いただける貴重な機会です。
アイキャッチの写真は、今回の会場「ウィヴァネストペンギン」さんと、お隣のカフェ「サテライトキッチン」さんをつなぐ通路で撮影した一枚。どこか懐かしくて、和装姿がよく映える空間です。
今回のイベントは、浮世絵をモチーフにした和物ファッションを手がける作家さんとのコラボでもあり、着物を着ない方にも楽しんでいただける内容となっています。
さらに、7月19日（金）には、お隣のカフェ「サテライトキッチン」さんの2階にて、浴衣の着方ワークショップを開催。
昨年もご好評いただいたこのレッスンは、今年で2回目になります。
今回も、その場で購入した浴衣を使ってレッスンに参加することも可能です。

Hi, I’m Michelle Yui, your NEO Kimono Stylist in Tokyo.
This July, I’ll be holding a pop-up event in Kyōjima, Tokyo—a nostalgic and creative neighborhood where old meets new.
📍 Dates: July 17 (Wed) – July 28 (Sun)
📍 Venue: Vivanest Penguin, 3-48-3 Kyōjima, Sumida-ku
You’ll be able to browse and shop vintage yukata, antique kimono, obi, and seasonal accessories—many of which are normally available only online. It’s a great opportunity to see the textures and colors in person, and try things on!
🖼️ The first photo shows the charming walkway connecting the tailoring shop “Vivanest Penguin” and the neighboring café “Satellite Kitchen.” It’s a beautifully renovated space that brings out the charm of kimono—perfect for photos too.
This time, we’re collaborating with a designer who creates modern Japanese fashion inspired by Ukiyo-e prints, so even if you’re not familiar with kimono, you’ll find something fun and wearable.
👘 Yukata Dressing Workshop: July 19 (Fri)
Held upstairs at Satellite Kitchen, this hands-on workshop will show you how to wear a yukata by yourself. You can even purchase a yukata at the venue and join the class right away.
This is our second time hosting the workshop, and we’ve included a photo from last year’s session as well.
If you’re traveling in Tokyo, this is a great chance to take home a unique piece of Japanese culture— something light, wearable, and filled with seasonal charm.
